St. Columba has a PC replacement program. In our computer lab, all of our computers were replaced in 2019 with new PCs running Windows 10. Each classroom has access to computers, iPads, and televisions. Smartboards are available to students as well as applications that the school purchases such as IXL, Starfall, and Brainpop. We use  Rediker which has an integrated Parentportal that allows parents to see data in real time such as grades, assignments, the school calendar and much more.

Our school curriculum is guided by standards set forth by the Archdiocese of Washington. They can be viewed at  https://adwcatholicschools.org/elementary-k-8/curriculum-standards/.

The ADW curriculum contains an educational framework designed to develop 21st century skills. All curriculum standards reflect a continuum of learning from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. curriculum documents are continually updated to ensure they are academically challenging and developmentally appropriate to encourage and nurture life-long learners.

In addition to the regular curriculum, St. Columba School offers weekly courses in P.E., Spanish, Art, and Library to all grades and  Music to  grades  Pre-K4 to 5th grade.
