Principal’s message

Saint Columba is not just a school, but a thriving community where home and school come together to better each student's academic experience.

Our eager children have a real thirst for learning and our excellent staff team are committed and dedicated in ensuring that each and every child achieves. We have high standards and expect the best.

Dear St. Columba School families,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! We begin our 58th year with an awareness that it brings challenges, high expectations, and new opportunities for us to grow in our faith, academics, and service. We pray that this year will also bring outstanding achievements and an even stronger spirit of community, with an emphasis on “unity”, all while strengthening our faith in God, and it is imperative that we work together as a comm”UNITY” to help each student grow.

I have always believed that parents are as instrumental as teachers in the education of their children, and this was confirmed last spring when our community was thrown into a mode of virtual learning. Teachers and parents supported each other in unity to achieve one common goal – continue to educate our children. With your support we will have a year full of learning, progress, new opportunities and challenges, discoveries, and growth.

In closing, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you who made my first year as your principal a fruitful transition due to your continued support, trust, and prayers.  I am certain that together we will ensure that this will be another great school year!  #WeareStColumbaStrong!

Peace and blessings,

Mrs. Christine Patton
